On July 11, 2018, the Director of the Public Revenue Office, Ms. Sanja Lukarevska and the President of the Macedonian Chambers of Commerce, Ms. Danela Arsovska, signed Memorandum of Cooperation, which confirms the commitment of the two institutions for increased activities for fight against the gray economy, regulation of the unregistered “black” activities in the labor market, improving of cooperation between taxpayers and the Public Revenue Office, as well as joint planning and organization of seminars, debates, business forums.
The Director of the Public Revenue Office pointed out that any initiative and economic measure proposed by the Macedonian Chambers of Commerce, made on the basis of analyzes, positive business practices and comparative experiences is welcomed and encouraged the Chamber to sign such memorandums of cooperation with the other institutions as well, for giving maximum contribution to the successful and quality realization of the proposed economic measures whose ultimate goal will be creation of a competitive economy and building of partnership relations with the business community.
The Public Revenue Office continuously monitors the economic condition, reviews the existing legal regulations and proposes their amendments for improving of the Macedonian economy.

The signing of the Memorandum was attended by representatives of the Public Revenue Office of the Republic of Macedonia and representatives of the Macedonian Chambers of Commerce, the Services Chamber, the ICT Chamber, the Construction Chamber and others.
