The 26th General Assembly of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA) was held this year in Zurich, Switzerland in the period June 29-30.

The Public Revenue Office, represented by the Director Sanja Lukarevska, together with the managements of the tax administrations from 44 member countries, determined the new five-year strategy of IOTA, for the period 2023 - 2027. The General Assembly considered: the amendments to the Charter, the new Code of Conduct and determined the financial framework for the coming years and the Budget for the next period.

The tax administration of Iceland has become a full member of IOTA. In the period 2022 - 2023, the Executive Council of IOTA will be headed by the tax administrations of the countries of: Austria, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and Great Britain.
